NEW UNIVERSAL WELD HEAD TEST
SYSTEM
A new test system from Magnatech provides factory
standard equipment for field diagnostics and
maintenance of for all Magnatech and other industry
weld Heads. The system allows testing of orbital arc
weld Heads - both GTAW and FCAW processes. All
electrical functions of a weld Head can be tested -
from simple fusions Heads, to more complex
full-function multipass Heads. This system is
especially useful for contactors and fabricators
operating large fleets of equipment.

AUTOPROGRAMMING NOW
AVAILABLE FOR PIPE WELDING SYSTEMS!
Orbital multipass pipe welding systems can provide
great productivity improvements. However, many
potential users are concerned with the “learning
curve” necessary for their welders to program.
Magnatech introduces the first pipe welding system
in the world with AutoProgram. AutoProgram mode
allows operation without programming training. An
inexperienced user enters pipe OD, wall thickness,
and material. A weld program will automatically be
generated. Programs can be Edited or Scaled.

NEW MODEL TUBEMASTER INTRODUCED
Magnatech has released the Tubemaster 514B Model for
production. This model replaces the successful A
Model, first introduced in 2005. New features
include: Ability to operate both analog Heads (using
tachometer motors), as well as Magnatech’s current
digital encoder motors; Ability to operate all AMI
orbital tube Heads. Drop down model selection allow
standard programming, or AutoProgram modes, with “On
Screen” calibration of AMI Heads - no trim pot
adjustments required; Software upgrades can be made
by email attachments transferred by USB thumb drive;
On-board diagnostics allow users to troubleshoot
problems.

MAGNATECH EXPANSION UNDERWAY
